While building a mailing list most folks say that getting your first 1,000 subscribers is the hardest part. As soon as you get those first 1,000 subscribers you can start participating in ad swaps and other joint venture opportunities that will build your mailing list even faster. The method I am going to discuss is one I have used myself countless times. This is a incredibly powerful way to get your mailing list off to a rapid start.
When I first started building a list in the internet marketing niche I was able to get 1,000 subscribers in a very short amount of time and with very little effort. Of course you will want an autoresponder, hosting, and a domain with a squeeze page in order to build an email list. I’m going to assume you have these tools already, if not check out my other posts. Now, let’s talk about this method already. It’s called solo ads.
What are solo ads?
A solo ad is essentially like renting someone’s mailing list. You pay them to send off an email that promotes your squeeze page. This way you will get virtually instant, targeted, traffic to build your mailing list like mad.
Why does this work?
Well, the individual you purchase the solo ad from will have a large list and they will guarantee you a certain amount of clicks. If you purchase a 1000 guaranteed click solo ad you should easily add 300 to 600 subscribers to your mailing list. So you can see that after just 2 or 3 of these solo ads you might easily have a list of 1,000 subscribers.
Where do I buy solo ads?
I have only bought solo ads from one source. I researched other types of solo ads on Google, but wasn’t satisfied with what I discovered. The one source I discovered to be the most trustworthy is Safe-Swaps. They have sections where folks sell solo ads, search for ad swap partners, find joint venture partners and more.
Okay, now we have discussed what a solo ad is, why they work, and where to purchase them. You should now have a decent idea as to why this is one of the best ways to build your mailing list rapidly and with ease. The only drawback is that you have got to possess at least a minor budget to pursue this method. Now, you can still purchase solo ads for as little as $30, so it can be reasonably priced, but it is not free. Nevertheless, if you have the capital to invest I highly suggest you look into solo ads to build your mailing list.
This is just one of the many list building techniques I reveal in my email marketing course Autoresponder Magic. Give it a look at www.autorespondermagic.net if you want to build your own profitable email list.
